Top secret - Canara Bank launches new products – Updates awaited on the banks website


            Last week, Canara Bank rolled out 3 new technology backed products. The 3 products are
01) mobile-Wallet,
02)easyCash
03)P-serve

This new 3 products have been launched keeping in mind the needs of new generation bank customers for preference to perform their banking transactions through technology channels. All the new products have been developed by the Canara Bank inhouse IT team only.

m-Wallet is designed for making cardless and cashless transactions safely through the amount assigned to the m-Wallet.  Canara Bank customers can make a cardless and cashless transaction at merchant outlets using the Canara m-wallet. Using their mobiles with m-wallet application downloaded on it, customers can also make utility payments and use it for online shopping, among others.

EasyCash service is designed to serve the migrant population who does not have access to formal banking channels.  Canara easyCash, an instant money transfer service is designed to serve the migrant population that does not have access to formal banking channels. easyCash facilitates fund transfer of small value and will also benefit the student community, who will be able to receive funds without having an account.

Canara P-Serve is a facility provided through touch-screen kiosks installed in e-lounges of Canara Bank. Canara P-Serve is a facility provided through touch-screen kiosks installed in e-lounges of Canara Bank. Customers can request for services such as issue of RuPay debit card, Visa Credit Card and cheque book request, among others.

            In the next two years, Canara Bank plans to open 1,250 branches and over 3,700 ATMs all over the country.

            Canara bank is yet to have a presence on Facebook and also the details of these 3 products are yet to updated on the banks website. Let us wait and watch.
