BJP favours abolition of income, sales, excise tax-Will it bite the Bullet?

As a salaried person, my pet peeve is the Income Tax. Salaried people have no choice but to honestly remit the Income Tax, whereas Business folks have a variety to minimize their tax outflow.

In a radical development, Former BJP president Nitin Gadkari, who is in-charge of preparing the party's vision document 'India Vision 2025', said that the party was presently deliberating the matter.

BJP top brass have received a report which favours  abolition of income, sales and excise tax and replace it with a Transaction Tax.

AT present there is an intense internal debate in  BJP to include the same it in its vision document to be unveiled ahead of General elections next year.

Echoing the same views, Shri Rajnath Singh-BJP President said the party will take a view on a demand for removal of all taxes and replacing them with a single transaction levy. He articulated his views at a recent conclave of realtors' body CREDAI.

The vision document is expected to be released in another month, and so I am keeping my fingers crossed. If you too support this change, send a message to BJP now.
