observance proposed to recognise the continuing evolution of India's digital
transactions journey.
For this journey, April 11 carries a particular significance
as the date associated with the launch of the UPI pilot in 2016.
The proposition is simple: a digital transaction is not merely
a payment. It is part of a larger transformation in how citizens pay, receive,
transfer, transact and participate in the digital economy.
Yes, a long way to go to get supporters on this journey.

journey.
Other ideas and initiatives, including DC777 and DTD777, may
evolve in their own time and direction.

A focused observation journey into the physical donation journey — from the
devotee's contribution through collection, counting, custody, movement and
eventual banking. The journey may eventually explore how this physical process
could evolve into a digital donation journey.
DTD777 — Digital Transactions Day
777
The observance and advocacy journey around the proposed April 11 – Digital
Transactions Day, recognising the continuing evolution of India's
digital-transactions journey and exploring its significance for citizens.
