10,000 additional individuals have been reunited, with women forming a
significant portion of those helped. The Uttar Pradesh Police, along with
administrative officials and volunteer organizations, have played a crucial role
in ensuring the smooth operation of these centres.

Management
Losing a family member in the
massive crowds of Kumbh Mela has been a long-standing concern. However, with
AI-powered facial recognition tools, authorities can now capture images of
missing individuals and scan the crowd for matches. Visitors are also encouraged
to use the official Kumbh app, which provides real-time tracking to prevent
separation.
The effectiveness of these
centres has been evident from the very first day of the Maha Kumbh Mela, where
250 individuals were reported missing within a few hours. The lost-and-found
